5 Sexy Boudoir Themes to Inspire Your Shoot

Boudoir is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing genres of photography. Women of all ages, sizes, and tastes are unleashing their sexy in front of the camera. There are a plethora of reasons why one would pursue boudoir-style photographs. Some may do it as a gift for their significant other. But, first and foremost, the majority of women do it for themselves. It’s a way for them to capture their beautiful body (and inner sex goddess essence) as it is, right now in this moment in time. January 2014 Review: Finding What Works

Finding What Works

January 2014 played into my theme of “open and ready” by bringing opportunities to live it. I did things that scared me, but reminded myself that my desires are bigger than my fears. (In fact, it’s an affirmation that I will continue to chant quietly to myself: My desires are bigger than my fears.) When I felt overwhelmed and stressed out, I reminded myself to stay open and embrace the moment. Often, I would concentrate on the breath. Each inhale and each exhale, in and out.

Small Habits Lead to Big Changes

Small Habits Lead to Big Changes

We make a lot of excuses for not making the necessary changes in our life. Some of the most common are: I don’t have the time, I don’t have the money, I tried it before and it didn’t work, I just don’t have the energy right now… and the list goes on. Many of us assume that big changes require huge efforts. While huge efforts certainly don’t hurt, small efforts can be even more effective. Why? Because it’s far easier to stick to a regimen of small efforts than it is to consistently maintain big habits. Believe me. I know this from personal experience! Continue reading

The Next Step

The Next Step

When it comes to business, I believe in smart growth. In the early phases, when you’re still trying to determine your brand, it’s important to start slow. Yes, you want to think big. Absolutely. But, you also need to be practical in your offerings, and spending. Continue reading

Grateful For What Is

Be grateful for what is, instead of focusing on what isn’t. It’s quite easy to get caught up in keeping tabs on what’s lacking in our lives. And far more difficult to stop and give thanks to the Universe for what’s present. Continue reading

2014 Goal-Setting: Actions Speak Louder than Words

“Open and Ready” is my theme for 2014. I want this brand spankin’ new year to be all about action, forward movement, opportunity-seizing and positive change, leading me to real results. I am ready to put the pedal to the metal as I charge passionately in the direction of my dreams. 2014 is very much focused on career and legacy-building, while maintaining the life-balance that is essential to my body, spirit and mind. Yes, I have big shoes to fill in my vision of this new year, and know that it’s far easier to state intentions than implement goals. If I’m applying anything I learned last year to my 2014 goal-setting, it’s this: Actions speak louder than words. Continue reading

Leaving Behind 2013

Before we can move forward, we must release that which no longer serves us. I want to start off 2014 with a fresh new page. I’d like to leave behind the gunk that is clouding up my juju. 2013 brought a lot of things. Amid the good was the not so good. I do NOT wish to carry those negative components into the New Year. In honor of leaving behind 2013, here’s a list of what I’m letting go of… Continue reading

Celebrating 2013

Celebrating 2013…

Holiday Council was birthed by Molly Mahar of Stratejoy four years ago. It’s a group of women who come together for 21 days of gratitude, self-reflection analysis and releasing of the previous year, and planning for the upcoming year. Last night, I began the process for 2013/2014 – my second year participating. Continue reading
