Reasons to Love Class Pass Las Vegas

Hey, fitness peeps! Class Pass arrived in Las Vegas last month, and with it has come convenience, flexibility and variety. Have you heard?

Class Pass is a monthly membership that gives you access to the top fitness studios and boutique classes in your city. Members select from a very generous list of participating studios, and may visit as many of those studios as they wish, and each one up to three times per each monthly cycle.

While the company has been around for quite a while in other major cities, like New York, L.A., Chicago, etc., they launched in Las Vegas only recently. Guys, it’s a BIG deal!

Class Pass Las Vegas membership is $79 per month. For those who aren’t committed to one studio, this is actually a really great price. (I’ll explain more about that later.)

Since I’m a blogger, Class Pass contacted me a couple months ago about the launch. I was really excited to have the opportunity to try it out for a month and see what it’s really about. I was in no way obligated to blog about it, but I said I would IF I liked it. And guess what, friends? I like it! I really do. Class Pass is pretty freaking awesome.

So, without further ado, here’s my top six reasons to love Class Pass Las Vegas…

1. Class Pass offers a great variety of classes.
Here is just a sample list of what is offered here in Las Vegas: Antigravity Yoga, CrossFit, Bikram, Pole Dancing, Kundalini Yoga, Boot Camp, Boxing, Combat Fitness, Meditation, Barre, Muay Thai Fit Class, Kettlebell, Hot Pilates, Kickboxing, Zumba, Candlelight Yin, Lap Dancing, Aerial Fitness and the list goes on and on.

2. Class Pass offers classes all over town.
When selecting a fitness center, I always aim for convenience, including the drive to and from. Since my busy schedule takes me all over town for meetings and photo shoots, it’s been great to have a number of classes to choose from, no matter where I’m at. And, seriously, they have tons of classes all over town.

3. Class Pass introduces you to new studios.
There are so many fitness centers I had no idea even existed. One of the classes I tried was Aerial Yoga at a place called Shine Alternative Fitness, which is located about five minutes from my house, in a really beautiful shopping center I also had no idea existed. Another thing I love about it is that I have had the chance to see if I like the culture and overall energy of a studio, which is very important to me. Here are just a few of the many participants: TruFusion, 103 Hot Pilates & Yoga, Bikram Las Vegas, Big Cat Boxing, Polecats Aerial Fitness, Shine Alternative Fitness, Fit4QOL, Fitness in Motion, Camp Rhino, Eleve Training Studio, Summerlin CrossFit, RYK Yoga and Vegas Hot. And, Class Pass Las Vegas is constantly adding new studios to their list.

4. Class Pass challenges you to try new things.
And when I say “challenge,” I really do mean just that! Two completely NEW things that I tried were basic pole dancing (NOT easy, let me tell you. Professional dancers at strip clubs make it look so easy, but it is NOT. It’s a great workout though) and aerial yoga (NOT as hard as it looks, but requires a lot of trust in yourself and the silk hammocks that hold you. I took the VERY basic class. I’m sure the more advanced classes are very challenging). There is a plethora of awesome classes I would like to try.

5. Class Pass motivates you to follow through.
How? Well, Class Pass charges a “$20 cancellation/no show fee” if you miss a class you reserved a spot for. Now, that sounds bad and reading that really freaked me out at first. BUT it also motivated me to get off my butt and actually attend the class. You can reserve your spot at most studios up to pretty much right before the class starts. And you have up to 24 hours to cancel the class without being penalized. So there’s really no reason why you should find yourself in a situation where you have to worry about that. And the fear of being charged $20 for a missed class may be just the kick you need to stay motivated. It is for this budget-minded chick!

6. Class Pass is affordable.
When you consider that most boutique studios charge anywhere between $75 to $150 per month for a membership, $79 for one month at multiple studios all over Las Vegas is a really great deal! And you aren’t obligated to stay a member. So if you fall in love with one studio and decide to spend all your fitness money there, you can do so. Class Pass allows you to cancel at anytime! (Please note that there is a $79 reactivation fee if you ever decide to sign up again.) I really loved the luxury of being able to attend multiple studios, which I would otherwise not be able to do.
