Visual storytelling is an essential component of a stellar marketing plan. Successful businesses and brands understand that photographs help tell clients and prospects who that company or brand is, in seconds. Visual storytelling can consist of different types of photos, from candid, behind-the-scenes captures of employees and management hard at work or interacting with clients, to composite shots of products, brand lifestyle images, simple photographs of the place where associates do business (interior and exterior photography), and so much more. The right mix of visual portfolio is as unique as the brand it represents.
Real estate companies ahead of their game understand the importance of photographs that sell. Obviously, every realtor is going to have photos of the homes they’re selling. However, the good ones know that their clients, prospective clients, agents and prospective agents want to see the whole package. The place from which they operate is a vital aspect of the experience for anyone who does business with them. Therefore, interior and exterior photography of their headquarters is a must.
One of our longtime clients, Las Vegas-based Resolution Realty, hired us recently to photograph their new digs. We have worked with Resolution Realty quite a bit over the past few years, and were pleased to photograph their beautiful new office. I wanted to share some of this interior and exterior photography with you below.
The shoot itself comprised of two days. On the first day, we did interior photographs of various areas inside of their office. These shots were taken during the afternoon when the lighting was best, based on where their building faces and the available light. While I have used artificial lighting for interior photography, I didn’t this time. There was enough available lighting that I was able to do without any extra lights.
The second day of shooting covered the exterior photographs. That is, the wide shots from outside of the building and on the street, along with some close-ups of some of the interesting building features. As you can see, the sky was absolutely gorgeous. While Las Vegas certainly does have the best sunsets in the world (in my humble opinion), these photos were taken during sunrise, which was more suitable for this south-facing building. We had to arrive very early for the exterior shots, at dawn, so that we could set up. Like the interior photography shoot, the exterior shooting was very simple – just a camera and lens for most of the shots, and the addition of a tripod for the gorgeous sunrise shots.
We were quite happy with how these turned out. Please scroll on and take a peek!
