Las Vegas Engagement Photography
When Ellen and Chase contacted us about scheduling an engagement photo shoot, Assistant/Boyfriend Dave and I were very excited. Not only are engagement sessions one of our favorite types of shoots, but we have actually worked with the couple previously and had a blast. We felt honored that they wanted us to document this new milestone in their relationship.

Because they’re having a beach destination wedding next year, our clients wanted to go with a fun, light and airy summer theme. As far as locations, we had a few options, but settled on Floyd Lamb Park due to the variety of looks available – trees, large ponds, old buildings, gardens, and so much more.

Sure enough, Floyd Lamb Park proved to be the perfect setting. And, the best part was that we were able to find new spots that we hadn’t seen in the seven years we’ve been shooting there. That was definitely an extra bonus that made me very happy.

Ellen and Chase agreed to do the shoot at the most magical time of the day for photography – late-late afternoon/early evening. This allowed us to take advantage of golden hour lighting and sunset.

In short, the engagement photography session turned out to be as successful as I’d hoped it would be. Not only did we accomplish our summer theme, but we also got a lot of great variety.
